About Me
I'm Jacob. Pittsburgh native, coffee addict, and proud over-sharer of pet content (ask about my dog and cat at your own risk). I'm up before sunrise, watch too many movies, and I'm obsessed with golf. I believe in taking risks, following passions, and living life in a way that feels true to who you are.
My Story
I took a bit of an unconventional path to photography. I went to Robert Morris University for accounting, but deep down, I always knew the corporate world wasn’t for me. I’m a go-against-the-grain, take-the-risk type of person, and sitting behind a desk crunching numbers just didn’t feel like the right fit.
Through life, I found myself drawn more and more to photography. First as a hobby, then as a creative outlet, and eventually as a full-blown passion. I fell in love with the idea of capturing real moments that tell a story; moments that bring people back to the emotions they felt in that exact second.
So, I took the leap. I turned my passion into my career, and now I get to spend my days documenting love stories, meeting incredible couples, and creating images that feel real, timeless, and meaningful. It wasn’t the traditional route, but I wouldn’t change a thing.
My Family
Victoria, my fiancée and biggest supporter, just makes life better. Whether we’re grabbing coffee, watching movies, or just enjoying the little moments. And, of course, our pets keep things interesting.
My dogs, Theo and Vision, bring nonstop energy and love. Theo is a ball-obsessed goofball, while Vision is a 100 lb weighted blanket with legs. And our cats, Sev and Draco, add their own mix of sass and curiosity.
Between them all, life is full of love, laughter, and plenty of pet hair...but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
